New York City Trip - Day 3

PizzArte gluten free pizza

Day 3 in New York City! This was an amazing gluten free food day and it all happened to be Italian food! We started with lunch at PizzArte because they had gluten free pizza crusts that people raved about. Our girlie tried the gluten free crust cheese pizza and she LOVED it! She said it was the best gluten free pizza crust that she’s ever had - and even went as far as saying that it may have been the best pizza she’s ever had!! The rest of us also ordered a non-gluten free Rustichella pizza with sweet Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, black olives and basil and the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina. These were also amazing and we agreed that these might have been the best pizzas and gnocchi that we’ve had, too. This restaurant is HIGHLY recommended!

After lunch, we walked along 5th Avenue and stopped at the Lego store. Legos are one of our girlie’s favorite toys and so she was in heaven in this store! We also stopped at the Nintendo store that was also very cool with floor to ceiling screens to play games on. We walked through Rockefeller Center and then headed down to the Empire State Building. It was a very touristy and fun day!

For dinner, we had more Italian at Tony’s Di Napoli. This restaurant served dished family-style but because our girlie needed gluten free, they let us order her a one-person sized meal. She ordered her favorite, buttered noodles, and said it was great! The rest of us got 2 family sized meals to split - Fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and Spaghetti with meatballs. The restaurant was great and the food was delicious! This was definitely our favorite day of meals during the trip!

Check back for our meals on day 4 of our NYC trip!
